I love this time of year!
To me this is the most wonderful time of the year! Today was beautiful. Upper 70's, sunshiny, and thanks to daylight savings time, daylight after 7:00 pm.
This is the time of the year when things start to come back alive. The trees are in full bloom, the azaelas are blooming, the grass is starting to look green, and the local wildlife adds to the show. After waking up today, I opened the all the windows in the house. It is so relaxing to hear all the birds chirping and singing outside. All the music seemed to echo off the walls in the house like a concert. Our cat must have thought she was viewing heaven as she ran and jumped from one window sill to another.
Seeing all this action makes me think about how much we benefit from the grace of God. Only humans worry, everything else just enjoys the party God has laid out for them. Jesus said in Matthew 6, "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you,"
We have so much to be thankful for. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy in my life!
